Happy New Year!

The most recent assignment for the competition was to take a picture depicting the glitz and shimmer of new year’s eve. It was raining quite a lot and I didn’t want to bring my camera and tripod to the fireworks display, but I thought the rain made the Christmas Tree outside my mum’s house look even shinier, so it seemed fitting. If you look closely this is also an auto-portrait of me 🙂

I wish you all the best in the New Year, may it bring lots of joy and success to all of you!

Is it raining, love?

While the man is slaving away in the pouring rain, the woman sits in her comfortable warm car. At least he is happy 🙂

To be fair – I was also busy doing garden work, it’s just that I was closer to the car when the rainfall hit.

Photo a Day August – Day 7 (spot)

A few days back I posted a picture of that very same flower.
Today I went to it again and took a new photo – this time with small water droplets.
I believe this flower is growing in a perfect spot.

Wishing you all a nice, err… rainy Christmas (it was +4 C here today).

This was the sight last year.

All-year-round sh***i skiing weather is what it’s called around here.
